The patient will collect a urine sample. Then, the medical staff will administer the test.
HOW SOON WILL I GET MY TEST RESULTS & PREGNANCY VERIFICATION?
You will get your test results while you are at your appointment.
CAN I TAKE A COPY OF MY VERIFICATION WITH ME?
Yes, you may take a copy of that verification with you if you request it.
ULTRASOUND
Our Medical Center has a Registered Nurse who is trained in Limited Obstetrical Ultrasound.
Limited Obstetrical Ultrasound is used for the following 3 reasons:
To find a pregnancy inside the uterus.
To find a viable pregnancy (heartbeat).
To find a gestational age by taking measurements.
We DO NOT provide a diagnosis of gender or abnormalities.
An ultrasound is an imaging procedure that uses high-frequency soundwaves to project a visual of your pregnancy onto a screen. It is a non-surgical procedure and it requires no recovery time after your appointment. Depending on how early in your pregnancy you receive an ultrasound, different types of ultrasounds may be necessary to get a clear image of the pregnancy. Many women are familiar with abdominal ultrasounds, with the ultrasound imaging tool placed over the lower stomach. If it is very early in your pregnancy, your sonographer will need to perform a transvaginal ultrasound to get a better image of the pregnancy.
